NAI staff member, Patricia Hannaway and family members joined the Team Destination DC on a brisk November morning to help feed the homeless in   Washington  D.C.    Walkers were allowed to register their dogs and we had the opportunity to see dogs of every kind small and large covered in their colorful vests to ward off the early morning chill in the air.  Present were several local media personnel and our Mayor Vincent Gray who gave a short speech and started us off on the walk.  The walk took us around the   Tidal   Basin   and the highlight of the walk was seeing the Martin Luther King Memorial up close and personal and taking a picture (attached).  It is impressive and for those who haven’t seen it is worth a visit.
